<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a sheet stopped in a path by refeeding it at resuming time by returning a staying sheet stopped on the upstream side more than an image forming part when image forming operation is stopped in the middle, up to a paper feeding loading part or a prescribed position between the paper feeding loading part and the image forming part. SOLUTION: When printing operation is stopped in the middle, control is performed to return a staying sheet stopped in a path in the upstream more than a transfer part to a cassette 131 or 132. Therefore, respective sensors 127 to 130 are used as means to confirm the staying sheet. In this printer, reciprocally rotatable rollers are used as carrier rollers 115, 117 and 123 or the like to carry sheets S fed from the cassettes 131 and 132 up to the transfer part. When the printing operation is stopped in the middle, a motor of a necessary carrier roller is reversed, and the staying sheet can be returned into the cassette 131 or 132 in a condition before feeding paper, and the sheets can be reused.</p> |
