PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diassemble and dismantle a cast roll and also assemble the same easily in a short time by setting a swing arm rotatably on a lower frame for supporting a shaft end section of the cast roll and rotating an upper frame and also rotating the swing arm. SOLUTION: In a cast roll replacement device in a wide roll device, a rear side face frame 2 of a side face frame 5 is split into an upper frame 2a and a lower frame 2b, and the upper frame 2a is constituted rotatably outward with a rotating support 2c provided on the outer face end as a support on a joint section of the upper frame with the lower frame 2b, and a swing arm 8 supporting the cast roll 21 and pushing the same backward is provided below both side shaft ends of the cast roll 21 to carry out simply the replacement of the cast roll 21. |
