PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve driver's brake feeling incompatibilities in an antiskid control of a partially lowμroad surface. SOLUTION: Whether a road is a partially lowμroad surface or not, in the first pressure intensification control from starting the antiskid control the pressure intensification gradient is changed than the second pressure intensification control or after. If the pressure intensification gradient in the first pressure intensification control is set larger than the pressure intensification gradient in the second pressure intensification control or after, a brake fluid pressure which is reduced on the partially lowμroad surface can be quickly increased so as to follow the deceleration matching to the brake pedal operation of the driver and eliminate the driver from feeling something wrong in the brake. The pressure intensification gradient in the second pressure control or after is returned to the general pressure intensification gradient so as to prevent the vehicle from being unstable.
