<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain size reduction in a roller driving system, and improve operability at paper sheet replenishing time by arranging a pickup roller between a side reference guide and a paper sheet central position in a condition where a paper sheet having the smallest length in the direction orthogonal to the paper sheet feeding direction is butted against the side reference guide. SOLUTION: A paper feeding stand 2 is arranged inside a paper feeding tray 1, and plural paper sheets 3 are housed on this. One side wall part 1a of the paper feeding tray 1 functions as a side reference guide to decide a common side reference position on paper sheets of various sizes being an object. On the other hand, in a condition where a paprt sheet having the smallest length L in the direction Y orthogonal to the paper sheet feeding direction X is butted against a side wall part 1a above the paper feeding tray 1, a pickup roller 4 is arranged between a paper sheet central position and the side wall part 1a. Therefore, a roller driving system can be incorporated into the vicinity of the pickup roller 4, and size reduction in the roller driving system is attained, and operability at paper sheet replenishing time can be improved.</p> |
