PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for controlling drive of a printer which maintains the tension of a material to be printed in a stable state even on the occasion when an impression cylinder is fitted to a printing plate cylinder and enables reduction of waste of time and printing materials. SOLUTION: This equipment has a servomotor 21 for driving a plate cylinder which drives a printing plate cylinder, a servo control means 31 which is so provided as to correspond to the servomotor 21 for driving the plate cylinder and controls the state of rotation of the servomotor 21 and a central control means 7 which is connected to the servo control means 31 and transmits a speed instruction signal to the servo control means 31. A load inertia moment measuring means 51 of the servo control means 31 measures a load inertia moment of the servomotor 21 beforehand. Based on the measured load inertia moment, a control computation means 61 of the servo control means 31 computes beforehand a corrective torque to be generated by the servomotor 21 so that variance in speed may not occur between the servomotors 21 at the time when a load varies. |
