摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the surface quality of electrolytic copper to be obtd. by executing electrolysis in such a manner that a cathode is suspended so as to be entangled from the vertical face in such a manner that the interpolar distance between the lower edge part of the cathode and the free solidified face of a cast anode is made shorter than the interpolar distance with the solidified face of a mold. SOLUTION: At first, the cathode is suspended in such a manner that the interpolar distance between the lower edge part of the cathode and the free solidified face is made shorter than the distance with the solidified face a mold, and the distortion of the cathode is measured by a distortion measuring device or the like. The cathode is slightly distorted toward the mold solidified face and free solidified face sides ordinarily in a state of being suspended vertically from a cross beam. Then, as for the measured distortion quantity, the ratio of the maximum distortion quantity from the position of the cathode to the counter free solidified face side in the case it is suspended vertically from the cross beam to the maximum distortion quantity of the cathode to the counter mold solidified face (=the maximum distortion quantity to the counter mold solidified face side/the maximum distortion quantity to the counter free solidified face side) is regulated to <=0.6.</p>
