<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a door to be forcibly unlocked even while a central unit is broken down. SOLUTION: This entry/exist control device has an electric lock 2 locking and unlocking a door 1, a card reader 4 controlling the electric lock 2 by reading the contents of data on a card 3, and a central unit 5 controlling the locked and unlocked states of the electric lock 2, the central unit 5 transmitting a lock or unlock signal for the electric lock 2 to the card reader 5 so that the electric lock 2 is controlled by way of the card 3 to make it switch between an unlockably locked state and a locked state; the card reader 4 checks the card 3 when the electric lock 2 is locked, and performs unlocking control if the card 3 is the registered one. In this case, when the electric lock 2 is locked, a card 10 storing an unlock control code for switching the electric lock 2 from a locked state to an unlocked state is passed through the card reader 4 under control of the central unit 5 to switch the electric lock 2 to the unlocked state.</p> |
