<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the leakage of an exhaust gas by connecting a valve element housing part with a side part of an outlet tube connected with an inlet tube for introducing the exhaust gas, on the extension of the inlet tube, and mounting a piston valve movable by the fluid pressure, in the valve element housing part. SOLUTION: A piston valve 5 is usually located on a retreat position, so that the exhaust gas flows from an inlet tube 2 to an outlet tube 3. When an electromagnetic valve 9 is operated to introduce the compressed air from an air pressure source to a right side of the piston valve 5 to work an exhaust brake or the like in this condition, the piston valve 5 is moved left against the pressure of the exhaust gas flowing in the inlet tube 2, and is brought into contact with a shoulder part 7 to be stopped. On this stop position, the outlet tube 3 is completely closed by the piston valve 5. When the electromagnetic valve 9 is operated for OFF to cut the supply of the compressed air from the air pressure source, and the valve element housing part 4 is communicated with the atmospheric air, the piston valve 5 is returned to the original retreat position, and the exhaust gas can be conducted.</p> |
