PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a required rigidity to the thick part of a molded article in the state of having no warpage by a method wherein a skin layer has a uniform thickness and is made of a highly fluid plastic material and a fiber reinforced plastic material is integrally added to the inside portion of the formed skin layer so as to form the thick part. SOLUTION: The skin layer (peripheral wall parts 1 and 3 or a bottom wall part) of a molded article has a uniform thickness and is made of a highly fluid plastic material. Further, a fiber reinforced highly rigid plastic material is integrally added to the inside portion (the inside of the peripheral wall part 1) of the molded article so as to form a thick part 2. For this, by installing molds 6 and 7 to mold beds 4 and 5, a cavity C for molding a box-type plastic molded article having a uniform thickness is made. In the mold 6, a slide core 8, which forms some part of the cavity C and, at the same time, a gap corresponding to the thick part 2 in the cavity through its sliding motion, is installed slidably on some part of the mold 6 under the state being fittingly inserted in the mold 7. |
