PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removing efficiency of a cleaning oil by setting the position of the boundary line of each wringer roll higher than the position of the boundary line of each brush roll at the time of cleaning a steel sheet with the brush roll and a cleaning oil and passing the steel sheet between the wringer rolls to remove the cleaning oil. SOLUTION: In the case of cleaning the steel sheet 8, the steel sheet 8 charged from a transporting port 1 is transferred with a pinch rolls 3, 3' and passed between each brush roll 4, 4'. In such a case, the surface of the steel sheet 8 is cleaned with the cleaning oil discharged from a nozzle 7 and the brush rolls 4, 4'. After that, the steel sheet 8 is introduced between the wringer rolls 5, 5' through a guide roll 6 and in such a case, since the position of the boundary line of each ginger roll 5, 5' is higher than the position of the boundary line of each brush roll, 4, 4' byΔh, the steel sheet 8 is graded upward and the cleaning oil on the surface of the steel sheet 8 flows down toward the brush roll 4, 4' side to be sufficiently removed with the wringer rolls 5, 5'.
