PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having photographic sheet-like texture without curl or cockling after printing by providing excellent glass and ink jet recording suitability of a white sheet part and printed part. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet comprising a finish gloss layer provided by coating one surface of a sheet base material with a coating liquid containing resin, bringing it into pressure contact with a mirror surface drum heated while the coating layer is in a swelling state or after re-swelling it and drying it, a layer containing polyolefin resin is provided on a rear surface of the base material. The layer containing the resin contains titanium dioxide.
