PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device and a cap, capable of improving tamper evidence properties and cutting reliably a TE ring when a cap mounted to a container is unsealed. SOLUTION: This closing device comprises a cap 1 made of a synthetic resin, which has a cap main body 4 composed of a top cover part 2 and a cylindrical part 3 suspended from a circumferential edge thereof, whose cylindrical part 3 is divided into an upper main part 8 and a lower TE ring part 9 by a cuttable weakened line 7, and in which threaded portions 10 are provided in array in an inner wall face of the main part 8 along its circumferential direction and many undulating tabs 11 are also provided in array on an inner wall face of the TE ring part 9 in the same manner, and a container mouth part 21A which has an external thread 22 formed on an outer circumference of an upper end of the mouth part 21A and a swollen part 23 formed below the external thread 22, and on which bridge stretching means 26 having extended steps 25 and push-down parts 24 with slant faces for being engaged with the tabs 11 of the cap 1 to push them down when the mounted cap 1 is turned in an unsealing direction are connectively provided to the swollen part 23. Further, grooves 30, into which top ends of the tabs 11 are fitted, are provided in the slant faces of at least the push-down parts among the circumferential edges of the bridge stretching means 26. |
