PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material which is excellent in a storing stability for a colored image, and at the same time, has a sufficient coloring concentration, a new developer which is used for the recording material, and a thermal recording body using the new developer. SOLUTION: This developer for coloring dye comprises a benzotriazole derivative represented by the formula (in the formula, R<1> , R<2> are a group which is respectively independently selected from a family comprising an alkyl group, an alkoxy group and halogen, (m) and (n) are a number which is independently selected from integers of 0-4, but when (m) or (n) is 2 or larger, R<1> and R<2> may be different groups respectively). |
