PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject enhancer safely usable without phytotoxicity to crops, having excellent effect enhancing actions on various agrochemicals, by including a specific polyoxyalkylene type surfactant. SOLUTION: This enhancer comprises at least one compound of the formula R 0(EO)x (PO)y (EO)z -H [EO is ethyleneoxoy; PO is propyleneoxy; R is a 6-30C (preferably 8-20C) alkyl or alkenyl; (x), (y) and (z) are each 1-30, preferably 1-10 on the average] in an amount of 0.03-50 based on the parent chemical of an agrochemical) and preferably further a surfactant such as a nonionic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, a cathionic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant except the compound and/or a chelating agent such as an aminopolycarboxylic acid-based chelating agent, an aromatic and aliphatic carboxylic acid-based chelating agent, an amino acid-based chelating agent.
