PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation structure for maintaining adhesive properties of an interface between a rubber plate and a metal part at a high level even in the case of using for a long period by scarcely causing a deterioration of an adhesive part of a part of the plate near a heat source. SOLUTION: Rubber composition containing a mixture of 0.1 to 3.0 pts.wt. of sulfur, 0.1 to 3.0 pts.wt. of organic peroxide, 0.1 to 5.0 pts.wt. of vulcanization accelerator with 100 pts.wt. of base material rubber containing diene rubber as an essential polymer is used for a rubber plate 2 of the seismic isolation structure having a laminate 4 of laminating the plate 2 and a metal plate 3. As the accelerator, chiuram tetrakis (2-ethylhexyl) chiuram sulfide is preferably used. A part between the plate 2 and the plate 3 is preferably treated by vulcanized adhesive containing chlorine content of 15 to 30 wt.%. |
