PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular detergent which leaves neither residue of paste nor residue of particles and has excellent dispensability and solubility of particles when employed in washing in cool water. SOLUTION: This detergent contains 3-50% of a surface active agent, has a bulk density of 0.5-1.2 g/cm<3> and satisfies either of the following three conditions; (1) the weight median diameter is 300-700μm, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of <=125μm is 13% or less, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of >=1410μm is 8% or less and the slope of the approximation line obtained by the least square method is 1.8 or more; (2) the weight median diameter is 200μm or more and less than 300μm, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of <=125μm is 24% or less, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of >=1410μm is 0% and the slope of the approximation line obtained by the least square method is 2.1 or more; and (3) the weight median diameter is more than 700μm and not more than 800μm, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of <=125μm is 2 % or less, the weight frequency of the particles having a diameter of >=1410μm is 10 % or less and the slope of the approximation line obtained by the least square method is 2.1 or more. |
