PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lubricating oil compsn. contg. an org. molybdenum compd. in an oil having a viscosity of lubricating oil, especially that having an improved high temp. friction characteristic, and a preparation method of the composition. SOLUTION: This oil compsn. has an improved friction characteristic and contains (A), (B), and (C): (A) a major quantity of an oil having a viscosity of lubricating oil; (B) a semi-package contg. an org. compd. contg. molybdenum; and (C) a semi-package contg. an ashless dispersant and a polar compd. wherein the polar compd. is selected from the group consisting of a metal contg. detergent, a zinc salt, a surfactant, and a mixture thereof, and the semi-package is heated at lower than about 110 deg.C for 0.5-5 hr. In this process, the oil compsn. is formed by mixing from (A) to (C) in any order. |
