<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a guide pipe and the like and reduce the traction stroke of an inner cable by forming a protuberant part for supporting the other end of a guide pipe, at a back plate. SOLUTION: One end of a curved guide pipe 20 is welded to a boss part integrally formed at a back plate 5, and the other end is supported on a protuberant part 21 to support both end parts of the guide pipe 20. When an inner cable is pulled, a brake lever 11 is rotated in a direction of operating a brake shoe 2 open. At this time, the force F of a curved part of the inner cable 16 becoming linear acts on the guide pipe 20. This force F is also supported by the top face of the protuberant part 21 through the guide pipe 20. Elastic deformation of the guide pipe 20 and around the boss part of the back plate 5 is therefore suppressed effectively, so that durability is improved and the traction stroke of the inner cable 16 can be reduced.</p> |
