PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly distribute flowing water into a spiral tube by inserting the spiral tube into a sewer tube without damage even when a tensile force applied into the spiral tube is increased in the case of inserting it into the existing tube. SOLUTION: The strip-like element 1 for lining is spirally wound to a spiral tube, and inserted into an existing tube to be lined. In this case, the element 1 comprises a strip-like base plate 12 having engaging parts 14, 16 engaged with adjacent elements 1 in the case of spirally winding, and an expansion and contraction part 18 formed to laterally expand the plate by bending the plate 12 so that an outer surface side is projected in the case of spirally winding. Thus, a side end 12a of the plate 12 is formed to arrive at the part 18 of an adjacent plate 12. |
