The invention concerns a thermal transfer printing mechanism comprising a frame (1); a roller (2) for driving the paper which is turned between the frame (1) lateral edges, an a thermal transfer printing head (7) extending opposite said roller (2), said printing head (7) being a strip with a substrate layer and a thermal printing layer. The invention is characterised in that the roller (2) shaft is turned in plastic rings (3) which are housed sliding in openings forming slides (10) of the frame (1) lateral edges (9) and a ring (3) consists of two half-rings (3a, 3b) articulated pivoting on each other about an axis located in their common diametrical plane, in the proximity of said ring (3) edge designed to be arranged at the frame (1) bottom and a bent leafspring (13) is arranged in said ring (3) extending, from one half-ring (3) to the other, in the proximity of said edge. |
