Impact absorption system applicable to head protection helmets of motocyclists intended to absorb the energy of impact received through facing dented elements (3, 4) between which passes the band (5) anchored to the body (1) at the opposite extremity or between the dented elements so that as a result of an impact the dented areas are compacted, the band (5) is tensioned and the the body (1) is deformed. A second embodiment incorporates the "fuses" (16) between the teeth and has two bands (14, 15) passing through the teeth (12). Finally, a resistance module formed by the circular band (17) provided with strong (18) and more deformable (19) irregular hexagonal profile deformable elements, with transverse folds (21); all this system is embedded into a synthetic foam (20) having various densities and which fills the inside of the elements (18, 19) provided with protuberancies (22) and stops (23). |
