A game medium and banknote transfer system (8000) for recovery of game media and banknotes comprises a safe (8100) for housing game media and banknotes, transfer containers (8500) each having a banknote storage portion (8510) and a game medium storage portion (8520), a transfer tube (6110) for transferring the transfer containers (8500) between an island (1) and the safe (8100), an air stream generating mechanism (7200) for generating air stream in the transfer tube (6110) to move the transfer containers (8500), a plurality of container catching mechanisms (2760) inserted into and provided at those positions of the transfer tube (6110), which correspond to the island (1) and the safe (8100) and for catching the transfer containers (8500), game medium introduction machines (7300) provided on the container catching mechanisms (2760) of the island (1) for introducing game media into the transfer container (8500), a banknote introduction machine (2700) provided on the container catching mechanisms (2760) corresponding to the island (1) for introducing banknotes into the transfer containers (8500), game medium discharge machines (7300) provided on the container catching mechanisms (2760) of the safe (8100) for taking out game media received in the transfer containers (8500), a banknote discharge machine (2800) provided on the container catching mechanisms (2760) of the safe (8100) for taking out banknotes received in the transfer container (8500), and a control system (PCS) for receiving a game medium recovery demand and a banknote recovery demand from any one of game machines (2) to control recovery of game media and banknotes. |
