The present invention is a system for performing ultrasound laparoscopic cryosurgery. The system consists of an ultrasound laparoscopy system (3) including a laparoscopy probe (12) for providing an ultrasound image, a control unit (24) connected to the laparoscopy probe (12), and a display (6) connected to the control unit (24) for displaying the ultrasound image. The system (3) further consists of a cryoprobe system (4) including a cooling device (20), and a cryoprobe (14) attached to the cooling device (20). The cryoprobe (14) is inserted into the laparoscopy probe (12), movable along the laparoscopy probe (12) for penetrating, and freezing tissue.
