A modular stackable receptable (2) for pool chemicals or the like includes an upper cover (6) and a lower container portion (4). The cover (6) includes a continuous rectilinear sidewall having a latch ring (32) on an inner surface thereof. An upper surface of the cover (6) includes a product dispensing pour spout (12), which receives a removable closure cap (16). The upper surface of the cover (6) also includes a raised crown portion (18), which is coplanar with the closure cap (16). Both the closure cap (16) and the crown portion (18) have stacking and aligning projections (24, 26) which cooperate with respective recesses (46) formed in the bottom wall (44) of the container portion (4). The container portion (4) has a continuous sidewall (30) which includes an upper outwardly projecting rim (34) and an outwardly projecting catch ring (38) that is adapted to interlock with the latch ring (32) on the cover (6), whereby the cover (6) cannot be readily removed from the container (4).
