A pressure plate (16) is positioned in a housing (12) and both turn on an axis. The pre-tensioning means, preferably a membrane or plate spring (18), is supported on the housing on one side, and on the pressure plate on the other side by means of a wear-adjustment (22). The pressure plate is pre-tensioned towards a flywheel (14) fixed or fixable to the housing. At least one clearance-provider (30) has a movable part (32) connected to a wear-adjustment part (36). The pressure plate contains a through-hole (34) for the movable part which is in the form of a pin belonging to the at least one clearance provider.
