<p>A receiver tank (2) formed as a sealed container provided with an inlet (24) and an outlet (25) for a refrigerant, and adapted to separate a refrigerant in a gas-liquid mixed state introduced thereinto, store a liquid refrigerant therein, and discharge and continuously supply the liquid refrigerant, wherein the sealed container is formed of a double tube comprising inner and outer tube members (16, 17) the upper portions of which communicate with each other while the lower portions of which do not communicate with each other, the inlet is provided so as to communicate with a lower end portion of a passage formed between the inner and outer tube members, while the outlet is provided in lower end portions of the inner and outer tube members so as to communicate with the interior of the inner tube member, a structure of the non-communicating portions of the outer and inner tube members being attained by fitting a non-communicating portion of one tube member in the other or by providing a joint member, a structure for preventing the falling of the inner tube member is provided and recesses and projections formed in and on the joint portions of the two tube members is provided to improve the air-tightness thereof.</p> |
