<p>A display wherein an illumination state control means (111) outputs an illumination control signal (105) for instructing the light to be on at the time of transmission display and instructing the light to be off at the time of reflection display to a light source (115). The control signal (105) is also fed to a data signal conversion means (104) which converts a data signal (102) into a data signal (103) in synchronism with the on/off of the light source (115) such that positive/negative inversion does not take place in a liquid crystal panel (114). The potential of data signal corresponding to the data signal (103) is supplied to a data signal line (113) from a data signal potential supply means (112) to drive the liquid crystal panel (114).</p> |
