LIQUID BLEACHING AGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid bleaching agent composition with bleaching ability which does not deteriorate during the preservation for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This bleaching agent composition contains 0.1-10 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide, 0.5-50 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant and 0.2-2 wt.% of a phosphonic acid type sequestering agent, wherein the ratio between hydrogen peroxide and the sequestering agent is represented by the formula: the phosphonic acid type sequestering agent/hydrogen peroxide >0.03 and the content of acetic acid or an acetate in the phosphonic acid type sequestering agent is 5 wt.% or less. Hydrogen peroxide is stable enough to maintain the original bleaching power of the composition when produced for a long period of time.
