Measuring signal adaptor for high-precision A=D conversion and telemetry

The adaptor consists of an A-D converter which uses a compensation system. The analogue (1) and digital (2) parts are constituted as separate modules and operatively connected to each other via a telemetry path (3). The A-D converter uses a single, double or multi-ramp system, pulse width modulation, or delta-sigma modulation. The telemetry path comprises several transmitter LEDs (4), optical fibres (5) and receiver diodes and transistors (6). The optical fibre may be a fluorescent fibre.
