Shelving unit assembled from interlocking parts

Folded rectangular or square plastics panels are used to form the side walls (2,3), cover (5), base (4), shelves (6) and vertical partition walls (7). Tabs (9) around the outside of the side wall, shelf and partition wall panels are pushed into slots (10) in the base, cover and back wall (1). Rods are pushed through holes (10) in the tabs to stabilise the unit. A splint (15) is inserted between the components forming the vertical partition wall panels and fits into slots (16) in the shelves, strengthening the joint between the shelves and vertical partition walls.
