The guide (16) has two arms (4,4') which surrounds and grip the hose clip (2). The offset arms lie with their angled knee areas in the recesses (6,6') of the clamp (3) area of the clip. The free ends of the arms can receive a crimping pliers (9) in their nocks (7,7'). The arms have pins (10) to connect them to the hose clip arms. at least one pin defines an area of weakness to form a breakage position. The arms have defined force levels for deformation around the pipe.
