The invention concerns a regulator for a three-phase current generator, wherein the generator phase voltage is evaluated. Said phase voltage is evaluated by means of a range comparator with variable thresholds. A signal (VCL), switched at each threshold adaptation, enables to produce a signal which is a function of the frequency and can be evaluated as measurement of the generator operating conditions.
