A diagnostic test support system (I) comprises: (a) a support layer; (b) a test layer containing the test reagents; (c) a grid cover larger than the test layer mounted on the support which is hydrophilic and capillary active; and (d) a test solution impermeable layer with a space for administering a test solution which leaves a capillary layer between the layers.
