The machine has a spray arm (3), which is set in rotation by emanating cleaning liquid. The machine also has a sensor for sensing the rotary motion of the spray arm. The sensor is designed and arranged so that it can sense directly a physical parameter of the spray liquid sprayed out of the arm. The sensor (10) has a pressure switch with a sensor membrane.
