The invention concerns a portable barbecue apparatus comprising a vertical frame (1) open on its two surfaces, housing in its plane heating means such as an electric heating resistor (3); it is equipped, in the frame (1) plane, with retractable legs (21-24) which unfold on each side of the frame to maintain it on a support surface. The support arms (51-54) are mounted pivoting on the frame (1) between a retracted position against the frame and an unfolded position wherein they can receive accessories (6) provided with equipment for grilling (spits, racket-shaped supports). The frame (1) top is provided with a handle (15).
