A sealing element (2) consisting of elastic material is adapted to be moulded in to for example a concrete pipe socket. In order to improve the binding between the seal ing element and the material of the concrete pipe socket the sealing element is at l east partially provided with fibre flock (14) at the surface portion which at the mou lding is adapted to be enclosed by the concrete material of the socket.
