PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured and safely used battery pack without increasing part item costs by providing a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a slim battery and cutting off a current when a battery temperature exceeds a set temperature above a sealing plate having a safety valve. SOLUTION: A battery pack inorporates, in an exterior case 12, a slim battery 1 as a lithium ion secondary battery and a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the slim battery and cutting off a current when a battery temperature exceeds a set temperature. The temperature sensor 2 is arranged above the slim battery 1 via an insulating cap 5. The insulating cap 5 has a fitting hole 7 provided to be put through in upper and lower sides for fitting the temperature sensor 2. The temperature sensor 2 is fitted in the fitting hole 7, contacted with the upper surface of a sealing plate 4, or arranged close to the upper surface of the sealing plate 4 with almost no space. |
