PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path image information recording and reproducing device that automatically defines a position from image information. SOLUTION: The proposed device is provided with an image input means that continuously photographs an image on a path, a measurement means 3 that measures a position of a mobile object on which the image input means is mounted, and a synchronizing signal generating means 5; thus the device records a measured position and a synchronizing signal altogether, and matches the data based on the synchronizing signal to generate data relating the measured position to image information. Then the device obtains a position on the path corresponding to the measured position, generates structural data that combines the image information with the position information on the path and stores the data in a storage means 10. Thus, the device automatically provides the position on the path to an image of each frame resulting from photographing a road surface. |
