PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device compact and to save installation space by providing the 1st horizontally holding means horizontally holding plural sheets and the 2nd horizontally holding means having larger housing capacity than the 1st means and horizontally holding plural sheets, and arranging the 2nd means on the side of a vertically holding means. SOLUTION: When recording paper P is supplied to space between a pair of roller groups 301 and detected by a detection member S6, only a pair of roller groups 301 at a position where the paper P is supplied is made start rotation in a carrying direction by a control part C, so that the recording paper P drops in a vertical direction by gravity in a stack part 305 while holding the paper P in between, and is housed in a perpendicular direction. The housing state of the stack part 305 is detected by a contact detection means, which then is inputted in the control part C. A pair of roller groups 301 and the stack part 305 constitute the vertically holding means and the recording paper P is stacked in a perpendicularly hung state. The vertically holding means is a holding means which holds the paper P in a state where a perpendicular component is kept and on the side of which the 2nd horizontally holding means can be arranged. |
