<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overcurrent in a charging equipment. SOLUTION: The dead time control voltage applied to a pulse width modulating integrated circuit 50 is controlled variably, according to the output voltage and the terminal voltage being the object of charge. This control is performed, using a variable resistance circuit 60 which can switch a composite resistor into plural stages by switching the combination of plural resistors over to a switch element. The changeover switch of the variable resistance circuit 60 is controlled by the control pulses sent out by the variable resistance controller 72. Moreover, the control circuit 70 monitors the output voltage and the terminal voltage, and selects the combination of proper resistors in the variable resistance circuit 60.</p> |
