PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic seal system and an approval method allowed to utilize computer cards, which are capable of preventing stealing, modification, copying, erasing, etc., of seal impression data and history data of a seal impression data user, and which enable a receiver of a digital document to check the seal impressions of all persons in charge from a preparer of the digital document up to the user himself (or herself), and also to check the validity of the digital document at each approval. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a user's terminal equip 1, an approver's terminal equipment 2 and a processor's terminal equipment 3 which are connected to an open network. A user imprints a digital document with a preparer/user seal by using a user's computer card 1c, an approver imprints the digital document with an approver's seal for user approval by using an approver computer card 2c and finally processor approves the approver/user of the digital document by using a processor computer card 3c. Thus the digital document is approved and the relative processing is executed. |
