PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase and stabilize output by providing a second copper grain that is heated at a high temperature than a first copper grain, so that copper vapor of sufficient quantity is secured and ununiformity of copper vapor pressure is eliminated. SOLUTION: Laser windows 13 and 14 are disposed on both end parts of an electric-discharge tube 1, so that the dissipated quantity of heat due to radiation increases near both the ends, and the temperature drops. For solving this problem, a second copper grain 22 is disposed near both the ends of the electric- discharge tube 1 adding to a first copper grain 21 near the center of the electric- discharge tube 1, for compensating the quantity of copper vapor vanishing from the electric-discharge tube 1, and further setting higher than a temperature 21A of the second copper grain 22. Thereby copper vapor of larger quantity than the copper vapor generated near the center of the electric-discharge tube 1 is generated near both the ends of the electric-discharge tube 1, and the copper vapor of sufficient quantity is secured in the electric-discharge tube 1, and further copper vapor pressure is made uniform. Thereby, even when a bore diameter of the electric-discharge tube 1 is enlarged, the output is effectively increased, and further stabilized. |
