<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a consumer to simply confirm the expected residual amount remaining in his IC card before and/or after a shopping by an electronic cash by a read and write control from the IC card which is performed by a micro controller with a key pat, a display or the like and a function regarding an IC card transaction being executed. SOLUTION: A small-sized housing 102 has a part in which at least one battery can be stored. The housing 102 is provided with a key pat 106K having numerical value keys and function keys and a display 104 for displaying letters and numbers, and the inside of the housing 102 is equipped with an electronic circuit for interconnecting the key pat 106K and the display 104. Also, the electronic circuit has a micro controller, an IC card port, an output and input port 108. Then, the micro controller performs a control of read and write from the IC card and executes a function regarding an IC card transaction.</p> |
