PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually trigger GTO thyristors by being turned off through a simple constitution with a less number of parts in a power conversion device wherein the GTO thyristors are series-connected between both the power supply terminals of a direct-current power supply and a load and a series resonating means are series-connected with both the ends of the GTO thyristors. SOLUTION: In the case of the power converter, a Zener diode 5 and the like are connected between the anode and gate of a GTO thyristor 3, and a first negative resistance means which is turned on when the voltage between the anode and the cathode reaches a specified value, is constituted. Further, a Zener diode 25 and the like are connected between the anode and gate of a GTO thyristor 4, and a second negative resistance means which is turned on when the voltage between the anode and the cathode reaches a specified value, is constituted. A prevention means for simultaneous turn-on which keeps on one of the thyristors 3, 4 as long as the other is off, is formed. |
