YELLOW TONER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner showing sharp yellow tone which can give excellent integrated functions even when the toner is used for a one-component developing method, and to provide an efficient and high-accuracy producing method of the toner. SOLUTION: The particle of this toner consists of the base particle 1, plural film layers produced by alternately depositing films 3 having a large refractive index and films 2 having a small refractive index on the surface of the base particle 1, and an adhesive resin layer 4 having dispersion of a pigment and a dye around the film layers. The toner is produced to have the reflection spectrum with a peak in 550 to 850 nm range. In the forming process of the multilayered film of this method, the refractive index and reflection spectrum of the base particle 1 and the film layers are controlled to satisfy the conditions above described.
