The invention refers to a casing for asynchronous and synchronous electrical machines, the cooling of which being ensured by the outer side of the casing. The casing, according to the invention, is equipped with a funnel [1] with a hole [a] for passing through the cables to the terminal box [2] which is mounted on the funnel and which can be equipped as well with a lifting ring [3], the casing pads [4] being fastened to the casing, each by way of a rib [5]. The tightening of the casing shields shall be made without damaging the air inlet and outlet sections between the ribs.
