PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the combination method for a redial function and a memory dial function where redial data are automatically registered as memory dial data different from a conventional telephone set having independent redial and memory dial functions. SOLUTION: Redial data and memory dial data of the telephone set are transistor(TR) stored in each storage area in a common use dial memory, the memory dial data are controlled to be always sorted in the order of number of dialing and stored again, and in the case of new conventional dialing, the conventional dial data or data with a number coincident with them are stored in a storage area of the redial data, and the redial data having been stored so far are moved to the storage area of the memory dial data (S1-S5). In the case of calling with the memory dial function, when the redial data are in existence, the data are displayed and when not in existence, the memory dial data with a maximum dialing number are displayed. In the case of dialing each of the data, number of times of dialing of the data is incremented by 1 (S6).
