TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION CONNECTION METHOD USING WORLDWIDE WEB SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable aural guidance using a telephone set and connect a worldwide web(WWW) server which has an immediacy and interactivity by starting up a CGI application of the WWW server after receiving a telephone call a sound modem, reading out a response sound and running it to the telephone set. SOLUTION: A procedure control part 1 propagates as information signal the number of digits of a character string that are desired to obtain and a sound analysis part 3 reads out and regenerates sound information which responds when a telephone line is connected. Information on a number and signal are received from a sound modem 4, the character string is assembled and is propagated to a procedure execution part. The procedure control part 1 assembles character string data for starting up a CGI application corresponding to the character string information. A communication control part 2 has a propagation function of the character string information among functions to read and reproduce a data file on a WWW server connected to an internet and starts up the CGI application by way of a network connection device 5 for delivery and reception of an electronic signal with the internet.
