PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component in which smoking, ignition and dirt are not caused, even if over-voltage is applied to the electronic component and the electronic component deteriorates in itself so that thermal runaway is caused. SOLUTION: A fuse 6 is connected between an external terminal, kept apart from one external electrode 2 of an electronic component element and the external electrode, and the external terminal is connected to the other external electrode of the electronic component element. In such an electronic component as this, one external terminal is bonded to a barrel body part of the electronic component element in parallel with the external electrode 2, and the distance between a pair of external terminals is larger than a margin size of an internal electrode alternately exposed. |
