PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high flexibility and high thermal conductivity by molding an addition reactive liq. silicone solidified material contg. aggregated B nitride contg. flaky prim. grains of hexagonal B nitride being not oriented but aggregated. SOLUTION: The matrix of the spacer is a solidified addition reactive silicone filled with hexagonal B nitride contg. flaky prim. grains of hexagonal B nitride being not oriented but aggregated. The manufacturing of the spacer comprises mixing aggregated B nitride and other thermally conductive filler, if required, with liq. silicone to prepare a slurry, molding it into a sheet of desired thickness by the press method, and heating to harden it. Thus formed radiation spacer has a thermal conductivity of 2 W/mK or more and Asker hardness of less than 60, providing a high flexibility and high thermal conductivity. |
